This year’s jtel Autumn User Group was a guest at Stuttgarter Versicherung’s headquarters in the state capital of the same name.

In the venerable surroundings of the major German insurer with its 111-year history, jtel customers exchanged ideas and learned the latest from the jtel development team, which once again presented an impressive range of AI-oriented customer-service solutions.

Uwe Braun, Managing Director of the Stuttgarter subsidiary Direkte Service Management, captivated the participants with his vision: managing work from a single source, with jtel as a component in customer service. The focus was the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) project. Its goal is to increase the level of automation through robots (bots) that automatically perform process steps at the user level, relieving employees and measurably accelerating processes.

Following brief insights from jtel Operations, jtel CEO Lewis Graham impressed the audience with his presentation on AI-based customer service. Organizations repeatedly ask how they can make their knowledge management available to customers through a chat bot.

Lewis demonstrated live how existing information, in this case several PDF documents, can be used to train Chat GPT and generate a coherent, well-formulated chat response within seconds.

Fascinating! Everyone in the room and among the remotely connected User Group participants could already imagine automating their own service processes, or was at least looking for solutions and approaches that could relieve employees or reduce costs.

This was also reflected in the concluding Q&A session, during which a number of creative ideas emerged.

Afterwards, the participants had the opportunity to continue their lively conversations over food in the legendary Stuttgarter canteen and bring the interesting day to a close with a good coffee. Thank you to everyone at Stuttgarter and to Uwe Braun’s team!
