19 Jan JTEL and Interactive Associates support largest Greek media group with migration
Just in time for the turn of the year, Audiotex SA in Athens, the interactive subsidiary of the largest television station in Greece, put its new interaction platform into operation.
With the new infrastructure we can handle more calls and SMS at lower costs, says Yiannis Stathakopoulos, the managing director. And he adds: Not only did the setup go smoothly, but above all the migration of over 1,000 different services and applications.
The platform was delivered by the software company JTEL from Bavaria. In addition to technical and commercial points, we scored points with our wide range of applications. Where previously only IVR services could be processed, SMS and conferencing applications can now also be developed and operated on the same system said JTEL Managing Director Lewis Graham.
With a voice, VOIP and data conference offering, we now want to successfully establish ourselves in the business-to-business market segment, says Stathakopoulos about our further intentions.
After supporting Antenna TV at management level in my previous position, I am particularly pleased to be able to continue this, explains interactive associates owner Hoffmann-Arends. And further: After selecting the provider, the focus was primarily on migration planning with the new supplier, the in-house departments and other external parties. Production costs will now fall significantly.
