TE-SYSTEMS and jtel enter into a technical partnership. With interop tests for anynode and the jtel system

The jtel system is now available as a node in the anynode SBC via the wizard. This makes configuration much easier, as the most important parameters for the connection are set automatically by the wizard. The jtel system with contact center, IVR, voice bot and much more can be put into operation in no time.

A typical construct with anynode and jtel arranges the customer’s SIP trunk lines with Microsoft Teams and the extended routing of the jtel system. Optionally, an existing telecommunications system can also be connected, which facilitates a smooth migration into the new world.

Conversations for workplaces can be routed 1:1 directly from the office to teams. However, Teams only offers limited routing and reporting options. Departments that require granular routing and reporting use jtel to map advanced routing scenarios with the easy-to-use integrated GUI. For the optimal routing decision, the aggregated presence information from teams, the PBX and the contact center agents is available to the jtel system.

Mobile sales and service employees in particular have strong advantages thanks to jtel presence aggregation. Depending on the status in Teams, the system uses the employee’s mobile connection or DECT device fully automatically, without the employee having to reconfigure anything. For example, if he leaves his workplace, jtel recognizes this and automatically transfers the call to his cell phone or DECT device.

For customers who purchase a jtel cloud solution, jtel offers anynode hosting as a service directly in the data center.
